Saxony-Anhalt: Police operation in Halle after shots from the balcony

Hello (dpa/sa) – According to the police, shots fired from the balcony of a residential building triggered a major operation in Halle on Wednesday afternoon. A witness said a person fired a gun into the air from the balcony, police said. Emergency services found a person in the apartment and found a firearm during a search. Further details, including the person in the apartment, were not known in the afternoon. The investigations were still ongoing.
