Halle (dpa/sa) – The regional directorate of the Federal Employment Agency will provide information on Wednesday (10 a.m.) about the situation on the labor market in Saxony-Anhalt in October. Experts assume that unemployment has fallen, as a spokeswoman said. Reasons for this could therefore be the start of training and studies. The good weather is also contributing to a continued high level of employment in outdoor occupations. According to the regional directorate, around 79,800 unemployed were registered in Saxony-Anhalt in mid-September. That was 2,200 fewer than in August. The unemployment rate fell by 0.2 points to 7.2 percent.
