Magdeburg (dpa/sa) – 146 women and men have started their training or studies for a career in the state police in Saxony-Anhalt. Interior Secretary Klaus Zimmermann appointed the 43 candidates from seven federal states on Wednesday in the police college in Aschersleben (Salzland district), as announced by the Ministry of the Interior. The training to become a police master usually takes two and a half years, the bachelor’s degree to become a police commissioner takes three years.
