Halle (dpa/sa) – In Saxony-Anhalt, interest in Spanish lessons has increased significantly. After English, French and Russian, it was the fourth most frequently chosen foreign language in the 2021/2022 school year, according to the State Statistical Office in Halle on Tuesday. According to this, around 7460 students learned Spanish. That was around 3,200 more than in the 2015/2016 school year. According to statistics, most of the pupils with Spanish lessons attended a Gymnasium. However, Spanish classes were already offered at primary schools in the 2021/2022 school year.
