Dingelstädt (dpa/sa) – A 36-year-old was seriously injured in a car accident on Thursday evening. He got off the road with his vehicle near Dingelstädt (Eichsfeld district) and drove into the ditch, the police said on Friday. The car then rolled over several times in the adjacent field. The man was trapped in the vehicle. A rescue helicopter took him to a hospital after the fire brigade rescued him. There were closures due to the accident. The police are now investigating the cause of the accident.
