Seeland (dpa/sa) – Unknown persons blew up an ATM in Seeland (Salzlandkreis) on Thursday. According to the Magdeburg police, the anteroom of the small bank branch in the Frose district was severely damaged by the blast. The perpetrators are said to have subsequently removed the cash cassettes from the machine and fled with cash in the mid-five-digit range. The police are now investigating the cause of an explosive device explosion.
