Bautzen (dpa/sn) – After the arson attack on a planned refugee accommodation in Bautzen last Friday, the investigations are still in full swing. According to the State Criminal Police Office (LKA), there is still no new information about the perpetrators. Fire investigators are currently investigating the crime scene and securing traces, said an LKA spokeswoman on Wednesday on request.
On Friday, unknown persons smashed the windows of the former hotel and set fire there. Several people were in the building at the time, but were unharmed. Since Friday, the police counter-terrorism and extremism center has been investigating serious arson. This week, the first refugees should have received quarters in the former “Spreehotel”.
