Saxony: Forests in northern Saxony may be entered again

Torgau (dpa/sn) – The forests in northern Saxony can be entered again from Wednesday. The risk situation has eased, and more rain is expected in the next few days, the district administration in Torgau announced on Tuesday. The prolonged drought had led to a very high risk of forest fires. From Wednesday, the regulations for the two highest forest fire levels four and five will apply again, according to the district office.
