Radebeul (dpa/sn) – The Association of Saxon Business (VSW) unanimously re-elected Jörg Brückner as employer president. The 63-year-old is the managing partner of KWD Kupplungswerk Dresden GmbH and has held the honorary post of President since June 2016. As the VSW announced on Friday, Brückner warned of further debts in his speech at the general meeting on Thursday evening in Radebeul. “The last thing we need is a new spiral of debt. The state has to make do with the money it takes in.” Politicians must now find the strength to cash in. This is possible and mandatory in order to secure the necessary investments.
According to Brückner, politicians must once again trust people with more truths and demand more performance: “There shouldn’t be any bans on thinking.” The demand that one has to work longer and more is absolutely correct and affects not only companies but also the public service.
