Borna (dpa/sn) – The Museum of the City of Borna is taking part in a national art campaign on the anniversary of the outbreak of the Ukraine War. As the museum announced on Tuesday, on February 24, 365 drawn doves of peace will be shown in an endless loop on a monitor. This is a project by the artist Cordula Tettau. She asked 365 people to draw a dove of peace. In Munich, the result will be posted on an advertising column, in Borna, Lindau, Erfurt and Unterschleißheim the pigeons will be seen digitally.

Borna’s participation is based on personal connections to the artist, said museum employee Thomas Bergner. Cordula Tettau’s father lived in the Saxon town for some time after the Second World War.
