Freiberg / Zwickau (dpa / sn) – The renovation and protection of the old God’s Help shaft in Zwickau has been completed. With the removal of the legacies of the former hard coal mining and the permanent safekeeping of the shaft, risk-free and long-term usable areas were created, as the Saxon Oberbergamt announced on Thursday in Freiberg. The costs of the renovation of around 3.28 million euros were borne by the EU and the state government.
