Leipzig (dpa/sn) – The Schauspiel Leipzig sees itself on the way to visitor numbers as before the beginning of the corona pandemic. Almost 46,000 visitors came in the last four months of 2022. This corresponds to a capacity utilization of around 71 percent, the theater announced on Friday. In the same period of 2019, 51,770 viewers would have ensured an occupancy rate of 77.5 percent. Last December, family plays were particularly popular. The theaters had suffered from long closures and a drop in visitors as a result of the corona pandemic.
