Dresden (dpa/sn) – The State Audit Office of Saxony will present the first volume of this year’s annual report in Dresden tomorrow. The auditors want to take a critical look at the implementation of the budget and the expenditure of the state administration. The inspectors expect more timeliness from the division into two volumes. With their work, they want to point out grievances and remind people to use budgetary funds sparingly. The report will be presented by agency chief Jens Michel and colleagues. Until he left the state parliament in 2019, Michel was the financial expert of the CDU parliamentary group and is very familiar with the figures of the Free State.
