Olbernhau (dpa/sn) – The federal police stopped three armed youths on the German-Czech border who had illegal pyrotechnics from the Czech Republic with them. Task forces found on Wednesday afternoon in Olbernhau (Erzgebirgskreis), among other things, ball bombs with around three kilos of explosives, as the federal police announced on Thursday. A brass knuckles, a one-handed knife and four stun guns disguised as flashlights were also seized.
The three teenagers aged 15 to 16 are being investigated for violating the Explosives Act and the Weapons Act. The federal police warned to keep their hands off banned fireworks. Not only are these dangerous, importing, possessing, passing on and burning are also punishable.
