Holzhau (dpa/sn) – A group of drunks threatened and insulted an inspector on a regional train from Holzhau to Freiberg (Middle Saxony district). The 25 passengers refused to show their tickets on Wednesday evening, as the federal police announced on Thursday. The train was stopped at the Rechenberg-Bienenmühle station and the inspector sought protection in the driver’s cab. When the police arrived, the passengers, who are said to have insulted the inspector, had fled. Since the train was initially unable to continue, there were delays and cancellations on the line. Nobody got hurt. The federal police are asking for information.
