Neustadt/Vogtland (dpa/sn) – A mill bucket was blown up in Neustadt (Vogtland district) on Sunday night. According to the Zwickau police department, a loud bang startled residents from their sleep shortly after midnight. In the morning it was found that the container had exploded and the debris had flown up to 50 meters. The police assumes intent and spoke of “ruthless perpetrators”. It is unclear how such a large explosive effect was achieved, since no residue was found, a spokesman said. Any witnesses are asked to contact the police station in Auerbach-Klingenthal.
