Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf pledged to teach his followers around Emmett Till during Black History Month, which will be February.
Throughout the first four days of this month, Metcalf has kept his promise.
The brutal death of Emmett Till is among the very talked-about actions of racism from the U.S. and that he became a part of the civil rights movement in the aftermath of his refusal.

No, racism is happening across the USA and I am sheltered because I am an NFL football player and I am a Black guy first though. After I shoot this Seahawks jersey away, once I depart this soccer game, then I am a normal Black guy. How are my children going to see the planet because I understand how I see it?

Metcalf stated in the movie he learned about Till’s story when he was young and it influenced him deeply due to how long he had been in closeness into the Tallahatchie River, where his body was discovered.
