Formula 1 returns again this weekend with the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. The season premiere was magical, and even unthinkable, with a Fernando Alonso on the podium at the Sakhir circuit.

The two-time Spanish champion will seek podium number 100 for his Aston Martin team in Saudi Arabia. In addition, some fans already dream of seeing Alonso again with another victory under his arm. It would be his 33rd triumph at 41 years of age.

Before the Spanish pilot will have to measure his forces once again with the Red Bull pilots. If in the 2021 season the duel between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton fell on the English side, in the past 2022 season on the Sakhir track the race went to the two-time Belgian champion.

On the other hand, some positive reaction is also expected from the Ferrari team in the race and especially from Madrid’s Carlos Sainz who touched the podium. Tire wear problems have been the Achilles heel for the Italian team this season.

The 2023 Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix can be seen on television through the DAZN channel, which has the television rights to Formula 1 Spain. You can also follow the race at the Jeddah circuit through Movistar.
