Full-length movies have taken over theater screens this summer.

If the fifth installment of Indiana Jones and the dial of fate surprised with 2 hours and 22 minutes, the latest version of Mission Impossible has also broken the mold. Tom Cruise’s film totals 2 hours and 43 minutes in each pass.

Even so, both still fall short of the more than three hours of the Oppenheimer film. But have the directors of these movies thought that viewers may need to go to the toilet?

The directors possibly not, but the new RunPee app does think of them. The application informs you in each movie when the viewer can go to the bathroom without losing the thread of the film production.

Once installed on the mobile, RunPee emits a series of notifications in real time of the chosen movie and keeps the viewer informed of the plot in their absence.

To learn the best times to temporarily leave the theater, the viewer must activate the RunPee app before the start of the movie. At that point, you’ll need to select the movie on screen to bring up the movie’s pee timers or alerts.

These notices reach the viewer’s mobile phone 30 seconds before the recommended time to leave the room. It can be used both to go to the bathroom and to buy another package of popcorn or more drink.

The RunPee alert also informs of the recommended duration of the release and the latest information on the development of the film.

For example, in the movie Oppenheimer the application has up to six moments in which it activates its alert to the viewer.

In the case of Barbie, the film does not reach 120 minutes, but it also maintains its alerts with a recommendation.

Run Pee is only available in English, but can be downloaded for both iPhone and Android models.
