Pasapalabra has a loyal audience every afternoon from Monday to Friday. The Andalusian presenter Roberto Leal continues to successfully lead the most famous competition on national television program after program.

The Antena 3 space also captures the attention of the audience thanks to the rivalry between the contestants Moisés and Óscar. The El Rosco jackpot now exceeds one million euros.

Starting this Wednesday, the contest will have Lucía Jiménez, Fran Perea, Edu Pidal and Mónica Martínez as new guests.

Since she was little, the imagination of Lucía Jiménez (Segovia, 1978) moved in all directions. “I always had the interest of telling stories. When I was a child, I wrote songs and imagined stories. In the end, at 16, I became an actress. A profession that, although not linked to writing, does have a relationship with different worlds that have been created,” he told Elmundo.es’ LOC about the beginning of his career, which took off with The Good Life. A work that led her to be nominated for the Goya, in 1996, as best new actress.

A year later, Jiménez made the leap to television with Leaving Class, where she played Silvia Castro, for 107 episodes. But after that intense experience of hers, she decided to dedicate herself fully to cinema. Thus, for five years, the actress participated in 12 films.

Already in 2003 he chose to return to the small screen with a film called Playing to Kill. Later, Lucía appeared in the series La Señora, on La 1, Las Aventuras del Capitán Alatriste, on Telencinco, and, in 2019, she entered Amar es para siempre, as Irene Eguía.

According to Jiménez, his work on television has given him great joy. Proof of this is that this year she debuted on HBO with Pollos sin Cabeza. A dramatic comedy, developed by Álex de la Iglesia’s production company.

With all this, Lucía Jiménez is not dreaming of crossing the pond or of becoming a Hollywood celebrity. On the contrary, her dream has to do with another, much more personal project: that of presenting to the public her new role as director. “I just directed a short film, as a director and screenwriter. I have moved to the other side of the camera and the truth is that I am very happy. It has been a very beautiful and very exciting experience,” she said.

Today he returns to the set of Pasapalabra where he has already made great appearances in the different tests of the contest.
