They Might Be Giants have just announced their 2025 US tour dates, which will run from February to June. This tour is an extension of their ongoing “Big Show Tour” and will feature a variety of shows with setlists spanning all five decades of the band’s discography. The band’s live performances will include an eight-piece setup, including a three-piece horn section.

The tour will kick off in Orlando on February 27th and will continue through the late winter, spring, and early summer with shows in Ft. Lauderdale, Nashville, Atlanta, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland, and more. The tour will conclude with two shows in Seattle on June 13th and 14th.

In addition to their tour dates, They Might Be Giants will also be performing two shows in Asheville, North Carolina, with $1.00 from each ticket sold going to the MANNA Food Bank to benefit victims of Hurricane Helene.

Tickets for the 2025 tour dates will be available through a Live Nation pre-sale starting on Thursday, October 24th at 10:00 a.m. local time (use code TEMPO). There will also be an artist ticket pre-sale on the same day at 9:00 a.m. local time for those who sign up for the band’s mailing list. General public ticket sales will begin on Friday, October 25th at 12:00 p.m. local time via Ticketmaster.

This announcement comes on the heels of the band’s previously-announced east coast run, which began in Philadelphia on December 5th. They are also preparing to release their new live album, “Beast of Horns,” on Friday, October 25th. This album, which features an emphasis on brass instruments, will be available exclusively on They Might Be Giants’ official shop and at indie record stores, with a wider release planned for December 20th.

Fans can also revisit They Might Be Giants’ 2022 appearance on “The Story Behind the Song,” where co-founder John Linnell discussed the creation of their song “Birdhouse in Your Soul.”
