Erfurt (dpa/th) – In a mass collision in Erfurt, two people were seriously injured and three others were slightly injured. According to initial findings, nine cars crashed into each other on a wet road on Thursday morning, according to the police in Erfurt. Seven cars were no longer roadworthy after the accident in the south-east of Erfurt, the police estimated the damage at 60,000 euros. The road was closed for several hours. Several ambulances were on duty at the scene of the accident, it said. The MDR had previously reported on the accident.
