Halle (dpa/th) – The regional directorate of the Federal Employment Agency is providing information today (10 a.m.) about developments on the labor market in Thuringia in October. Unemployment has recently fallen slightly. A total of around 60,000 women and men were registered as unemployed in Thuringia in September. The unemployment rate fell to 5.5 percent from 5.6 percent in August. Overall, however, there were more people looking for work than a year earlier.
