Erfurt (dpa/th) – Two passers-by came to the aid of several 10 to 13-year-olds in downtown Erfurt when several young people wanted to rob them. In one of the two cases, the perpetrators fled with cash on Wednesday afternoon, in the other case they got nothing, as the police in Erfurt announced on Thursday.
In one case, the perpetrators kicked and punched a 10-year-old and an 11-year-old because they did not want to give them any money. A woman came to the boy’s aid and the perpetrators fled. About an hour later, a man intervened when several 14- to 16-year-olds wanted money and cell phones from a 12-year-old and a 13-year-old. The perpetrators then left the crime scene. The police are investigating whether they are the same perpetrators.
