Erfurt (dpa/th) – A semi-trailer truck drove up the embankment on the A9 motorway between the Droysig and Eisenberg connections (Saale-Holzland district) in the direction of Munich and overturned. The 46-year-old passenger was slightly injured in the leg, as announced by the State Operations Center of the Ministry of the Interior in Erfurt. The 46-year-old driver was not injured. The truck veered off the right side of the road on Friday morning for reasons that were initially unclear. The vehicle’s tank was damaged in the accident, fuel had spilled and had to be disposed of. The road was temporarily closed. There was damage of around 70,000 euros.
