Ilmenau (dpa/th) – After two accidents within a short period of time, an 84-year-old driver in Ilmenau lost his driving license. The pensioner’s driver’s license was secured on Friday after he caused two accidents within a few minutes, the police said on Saturday. Accordingly, he had initially disregarded the right of way of a 60-year-old driver and then left the scene of the accident without permission. A short time later he went off the road in a curve and drove into a fence. The man was slightly injured.
