The acting Minister of the Presidency, Félix Bolaños, confirmed this Thursday that he is speaking with “all” the parliamentary groups in Congress, in addition to ERC, to reform the regulations and allow the use of co-official languages ??in the Lower House.
“It is a reform that affects all parliamentary groups and therefore they are working with all of them, not just with a specific group,” explained the minister before visiting the exhibition ‘Intellectual exile in Puerto Rico’ at the National Library in Madrid.
Bolaños has responded in this way after learning that the ERC and the PSOE are outlining a reform of the regulations of Congress so that Catalan, Basque and Galician can also be used in the Lower House, just as the pro-independence forces agreed with the Socialists to facilitate the election of Francina Armengol as president of the institution.
Regarding when the reform could take place, Bolaños said he “hoped” that “soon”, as soon as there is an agreement to “guarantee” that Catalan, Basque and Galician are spoken in Congress, co-official languages ??that are so “Spanish “like Spanish, has stood out.
