Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have been friends since 1998 and have been happily married since 2015. For his first confession of love, the actor needed a little alcoholic support, as he now reveals. His wife initially left it cold.
For many couples, the first “I love you” is a beautiful and unforgettable moment. With Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, on the other hand, it was a little different, as the actor has now revealed on the “Kelly Clarkson Show”. Accordingly, he was so drunk that his future wife did not want to believe his confession of love.
“I remember it clearly because I came to her house and sang this Kenny Chesney song and I was like, ‘You and tequila are driving me crazy,’ because there’s been a little too much tequila and they’re both driving me crazy,” Kutcher said laughing. After his serenade, he took the opportunity to share his feelings with his former “That ’70s Show” co-star. “And then I told her I loved her, and I meant it when I said it.”
However, he was so drunk that Kunis wasn’t exactly convinced. “She said, ‘Just tell me – tell me in the morning.’ Waking up the next morning, he was amazed to remember the night’s incident so clearly because he was “really drunk.” But he was so sure of his feelings that he woke up Kunis with a “Hey, I love you”.
Also during an appearance on the “Kelly Clarkson Show” Mila Kunis revealed her view of things about her husband’s confession of love last year. “My dad told my mom three months into their relationship that he was in love with her when he was dead drunk. And my mom said, ‘Okay, talk to me in the morning.’ The same thing happened to me with my husband,” she said. “After three months of our relationship, he showed up at my house at two in the morning.” He slurred “I love you so much” several times when she tried to put him to bed.
Both her mother and Mila Kunis seem to have borne fruit in the boozy confessions of love. Mark and Elvira Kunis have been married for more than 39 years. Their daughter married Ashton Kutcher in 2015 after three years of dating. The two actors, who met on the set of “The Seventies Show” in 1998, have two children together: eight-year-old Wyatt and two years younger than Dimitri.
