Three people, two men and a woman, were injured this Sunday in the contest of cuts of the Carnival of the Bull of Ciudad Rodrigo (Salamanca), as reported by the Red Cross on Monday.
During the contest, a bull jumped into the burladero and injured three people. A 19-year-old from Salamanca suffered two braces, one to the abdominal wall and the other to the left perineal region, for which he had to be transferred to the Salamanca Hospital.
The Red Cross also treated another man, 36 years old and a resident of Yecla de Yeltes (Salamanca), due to multiple injuries, who received assistance on the spot and did not require transfer to the hospital.
The third wound is a 23-year-old woman from Valladolid, with a possible bull footprint and a bruise, who was also discharged at the scene.
The Carnaval del Toro in Ciudad Rodrigo combines bullfighting and costumes in one of the oldest popular festivals in Spain. This edition began on February 17 and will end on the 21st.
