An elderly couple makes their way to two applicants for an apartment to turn them down. The situation spirals out of control. In the end, two people are dead.
Two people were killed and one man injured in a dispute over a rented apartment in Ottweiler, Saarland. The potential landlords of the apartment, a 79-year-old man and his wife, who is one year younger, drove to a couple in the afternoon who wanted to move. According to the police, they wanted to tell the 51-year-old man and his 59-year-old partner that nothing would come of their application.
The 51-year-old then pulled out a gun and shot the 78-year-old. In a subsequent argument with the 79-year-old, he pulled the gun again, pulled the trigger and injured him. The 51-year-old then shot himself in his own apartment. The shooter’s partner is currently being cared for.
