Merche is one of the contestants on season 10 of Tu cara suena me. Viewers have been able to see a preview of the fifth gala, in which the singer will imitate Ana Mena with Abraham Mateo, and that fragment has already earned her much criticism.

“‘Shocked’ with Merche imitating Ana Mena! It is that she is completely in voice and physique,” published the Telemagazine account, a message to which Merche responded. “Nobody does playback, what happens is that the choruses are tremendously strong and I hallucinate, the truth is, I’m not cool at all,” she said.
In addition, the interpreter published a second tweet explaining what happened. “I’ll show you the rehearsals with the sound of the set, which has nothing to do with it,” said the artist.

Despite the fact that the sound of the performance was highly criticized, the fans of Tu cara me suena applauded Merche’s characterization, since she bore a great resemblance to Ana Mena. “Is Ana Mena characterized by Merche or Merche characterized by Ana Mena?” asked a spectator.
