Last September, Telecinco premiered Vamos a ver, a current affairs program presented by Joaquín Prat along with Patricia Pardo and Adriana Dorronsoro. After several weeks on the air, the format underwent a change on October 3.
Around 1:30 p.m., the presenter interrupted the discussion to make way for the header of Let’s see more. In this way, the program has been divided into two parts: one from 10:30 to 1:30 p.m. and another from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Let’s see, it usually scores an average audience of between 10 and 13%. These figures are far from the 16% that Ana Rosa’s program usually achieved in the same time slot. Apparently, the drop in share of Let’s See occurs from 1:30 p.m., when it coincides with Cocina Abierto by Karlos Arguiñano and La roulette de laluck on Antena 3.
When breaking up the program, the audiences are counted separately, so Let’s see will reflect better data than Let’s see more. That is why Mediaset has followed this strategy so that the first part has a higher share. It seems that this decision will only affect audience data. Despite the change, the structure of previous formats was maintained in the October 3 delivery, so it is to be hoped that the arrival of Let’s See More will not affect the content.
This change in Telecinco’s format already seems to be reflected in the audience. Taking September as an example, Let’s See scored 10.7 and 10.9% on the 26th and 27th respectively.
On October 2, the last day of Let’s See Complete, the audience reached 13.2%. Already on October 3, Let’s see reflects an increase to 15.8%, while Let’s see more remained at a share of 11.4%.
Let’s see is broadcast from Monday to Friday. The space combines news, investigative journalism and heart, and has several collaborators such as Laura Matamoros, Abel Planelles, Víctor Blanco or Álex Rodríguez.
