Dorothée, superstar of children’s TV programs and children’s singer from 1977 to 1997, will be one of the voices of Transformers. Rise of the Beasts, the seventh episode of the saga, is expected in theaters on June 7, Paramount Pictures France announced on Tuesday.

The host will voice Airazor, a female falcon expert in aerial reconnaissance “who is not afraid to operate alone and to fly without reinforcement in the face of certain danger”, underlines the production. “Who better than the idol of the 1990s, the one who imported manga and the great animation series to France, to embody wisdom, power and benevolence? adds Paramount.

Transformers. Rise of the Beasts is set in 1990s New York. Optimus Prime and his cronies are once again set to challenge Unicron and the Decepticons, aided by a new class of Transformers: the Maximals.
