A man in Uganda has been convicted, inter alia due to the killing of rare mountain gorillas to eleven years in prison. The 25-year-old animal, named Rafiki, was found in June in the Bwindi impenetrable rainforest in southwestern Uganda with deep spear wounds, dead. Then, four suspected poachers had been arrested, informed the Ugandan wildlife authority, UWA on Thursday. They had allegedly killed next to the Gorilla, a Bush pig and an antelope.
