Kanye West (45) shoots again with a tasteless action against his rival Pete Davidson (28). The rapper posted a fake front page on Instagram announcing Davidson’s death. Shortly before, the report had made the rounds that Davidson and West’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian (41) should have separated.
“Skete Davidson died at 28” reads the fake front page of The New York Times. Skete is Kanye West’s derogatory nickname for the comedian. The meaning of the word is unclear.
The action is not Kanye West’s first questionable reference to the US comedian’s death. In the video for his song “Eazy,” a plasticine figure resembling Pete Davidson is buried alive.
Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson recently reportedly split after nine months of dating. Their busy schedules are said to not allow a relationship.
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian married in 2014 and have four children together. Kardashian filed for divorce in February 2021, and a court approved it in March 2022.
On the same fake front page, Kanye West also attacks his rap rival Kid Cudi (38). “Kid Cudi wanted to play at the funeral but was afraid of bottle throwers,” reads the headline in small type. He’s alluding to an incident at a concert where bottles were thrown at Kid Cudi on stage. Kid Cudi fell out of favor with Kanye West as a friend of Pete Davidson.
