Oliver Cabell, a luxury leather bag upstart, is kicking around a new product.
Barely a year old, the e-tailer just raised $500,000 to launch a line of fashion sneakers that will be made from the same Italian Arzbet leather and in the same factories in Spain where its gender neutral bags are produced, On the Money has learned exclusively. The sneakers, costing around $200, will launch in the summer.
“There is a smaller following for bags and leather goods in general,” company founder Scott Gabrielson said, but “there is a massive follower base of sneakers with bloggers and influencers.”
