The Norwegian King Harald V. (85) has been taken to the hospital. The royal family announced in the afternoon that he had been taken to the Oslo National Hospital for a fever examination on Thursday. The condition of the monarch is stable.
Despite his old age, the king had recently taken part in a sailing world championship on Lake Geneva with the Norwegian boat “Sira”. He had been to the Reich Hospital several times in the past few years: he had successful leg surgery there in early 2021, and an artificial heart valve had been replaced a few months earlier.
