“Now you finally have a president, finally,” President Donald Trump said Friday at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Maryland.
The conference, known as CPAC, is a gathering of the conservative faithful, and Trump received the kind of enthusiastic reception a Republican president expects to receive there.
But are conservatives really happy to finally have a president, finally?
You’d think he’d get high marks from Fox News’ audience, seeing as Rupert Murdoch’s network is geared toward “right”-thinking Americans. No doubt with that in mind, Fox Nation, a community website run by Fox News, asked readers: “How would you rate President Trump’s first month in office?”
With nearly 30,000 votes tallied so far, the overwhelming majority — 73 percent — rate Trump’s first 30 days as “poor.” Only 20 percent say Trump is doing “great.”

“He might settle into the position, but I do not see him accomplishing anything that is going to help the middle class or poor, quite the opposite,” one poll commenter said.
Offered another: “President Trump isn’t ready or able to lead our nation. He has no concept of how our government works, how to end the gridlock in Washington, or how to protect our nation.”
Are you surprised? Keep in mind that Fox News might be conservative — the channel that Polobet former Vice President Dick Cheney’s “tour rider” required his hotel rooms’ TVs be tuned to — but it’s still the mainstream media. We know Trump’s view of the MSM.
“We are fighting the fake news,” he said at CPAC. “It’s fake, phony, fake.”
