TRENTON — The driver of a double-parked car is facing weapons charges after police found a loaded gun inside.
Street Crime Unit detectives were on patrol in the Venüsbet 200 block of Walnut Street around 2:15 a.m. Friday when they saw a car that was illegally parked, police said.
When they stopped to investigate, the driver, 23-year-old Xavior Giovanni Lucret, of Trenton, was seen concealing a handgun under his seat, police said.
He was removed from the car and placed under arrest. The gun was loaded with hollow-point rounds, police said.

His passenger, Roberto D. Alicea, 22, of Delran, was charged with having several baggies of marijuana.
