In April, nearly 31,000 passengers traveled through Kerry Airport, followed by over 41,000 in May, and a slightly decreased number of 41,016 in June. The total number of departures from the airport during this quarter was over 61,000, while arrivals were recorded at almost 52,000.
A total of 922 flights were handled by Kerry Airport during this period, with 444 arrivals and 478 departures. The most popular route for passengers was to Dublin, with over 29,000 people making this journey, followed by London-Luton and Alicante.
Overall, the report from the Central Statistics Office also revealed that a total of 19.5 million passengers traveled through the five main Irish airports in the first half of 2024. This data provides valuable insight into the travel patterns and trends at Kerry Airport and across Ireland as a whole.
