The Bulls are just over a month past their team meeting to address Rajon Rondo calling out Dwyane Wade and Jimmy Butler for their criticism of teammates.
They’re also shooting for their first five-game win streak of the season Tuesday night against the Nuggets.
Did they ever think they could get here from there?
"That’s a great question," coach Fred Hoiberg said. "Sometimes those things are healthy. Sometimes those things can end up being a positive for your team. I think I remember commenting that night (that) we didn’t play well against Miami. I thought it did have an effect on how we played that night. But the hope was to have long-term benefits with getting things off our chest like we did behind closed doors that day. I think it did help us.
"We’ve got a tough week starting with Denver tonight, a team that is third in the league in scoring and great on the break. We’ve struggled against teams like that."
The Warriors and Clippers follow the Nuggets during the three-game home stand. Hoiberg said Jerian Grant, Wade, Butler, Bobby Portis and Robin Lopez again will form the starting lineup.
Michael Carter-Williams and Paul Zipser remain out with injuries for the Bulls.
