Colts defensive lineman David Parry was arrested after an alleged incident in Scottsdale, Arizona on Saturday.
According to the Scottsdale Police Department, a male victim told police that around 2:15 a.m. he picked up three people in his transportation cart from a downtown bar. As he exited his cart to receive payment from the two, Parry allegedly struck the victim in the head and took off on the cart.
Police found the cart crashed into a complex gate and Parry on the sidewalk nearby. Parry allegedly displayed signs and symptoms of alcohol impairment.
Parry was taken into custody and charged with theft, robbery and resist arrest-physical force.
Police say there was no connection between Parry and the other two riders.
A spokesperson for the Colts released this statement: "We are aware of the reports and are gathering more information."
