Oregon’s Sabrina Ionescu was named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year, while she and fellow freshman Ruthy Hebard were both All-Pac-12 and All-Freshman selections in a vote by the conference’s coaches.
Ionescu averaged 13.9 points, 6.8 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game in her debut season and tallied an NCAA-best four triple doubles. Hebard averaged 14.7 points and 8.4 rebounds per game and led the Pac-12 in field-goal percentage (63.2). They are the only two freshmen on the All-Pac-12 team.
Lexi Bando, who led the nation with a 50 three-point field-goal percentage, was also an All-Pac-12 honorable mention selection.
The Ducks, who are vying for an NCAA Tournament berth, open Pac-12 Tournament play Thursday night against Arizona in Seattle.
