US President Donald Trump will announce his candidate for Supreme Court at night. Nine judges sit in Supreme Court. The choice is so important because majority of Board decides on disputes. So far, liberals and conservatives have maintained a balance. Judge Anthony Kennedy, whose position is now being refilled, is also a conservative, but a moderate one. He repeatedly voted with Liberals and was so crucial to majority in court. Now Kennedy is retiring.

Trump seems determined to replace him with a radical candidate. His proposal will have to be confirmed by Senate later. However, an agreement is considered probable. There is no official list of candidates. But in past few days, se three were considered favourites:
Brett Kavanaugh
Brett Kavanaugh was long considered president’s top candidate. He is a judge of District of Columbia Court of Appeal, one of most powerful chambers in United States. He is well connected in Washington political scene. Kavanaugh comes from a legal family from suburbs of Washington, D.C., and graduated from elite University of Yale.
However, many in Trump camp doubt Kavanaughs Line Fidelity. In addition, he owes his current job to President George W. Bush, for whom he also worked as a consultant in White House. That’s true, like Trump Republicans. But Trump doesn’t like bushes terribly. Possible for such animosities to influence his decision.

Amy Coney Barrett is currently also a judge at a High Court of appeal – on suggestion of Donald Trump. He seems to be weighing on her. She is a member of Federalist Society, a highly influential network of conservative lawyers in United States who has advised Trump in his election. The former law professor is also regarded as a radical opponent of abortions.
However, 46-year-old has just been a judge in a federal court for a year. It is quite possible that Trump is considered too inexperienced.
Raymond Kethledge
Raymond Kethledge, 51, was also appointed federal judge by George W. Bush. He is considered a favorite of Mitch McConnell, Republican majority leader in Senate. Trump also seems to have found a favor in judge: as a presidential candidate, he called Kethledge as a possible candidate for Supreme Court, among or things.
His verdicts may appeal to Republicans: he had police collect mobile phone data, limited practice of schools to directly pull union dues of ir teachers – that is what unions have to do with great effort mselves. He also throbbed minimum penalty for a man who was guilty of a drug offence, even though Congress had recently lowered this minimum penalty.
Thomas Hardiman
Thomas Hardiman is currently more likely to be an outsider. In his previous judgments, he has been a proponent of lax arms law. Which is good at trumps base anyway.
