Nuremberg (dpa / lby) – After an accident, a driver was hit by her own car on the Autobahn near Nuremberg. The woman fell and the car stopped with a wheel on her lower leg, police said on Wednesday. She suffered a broken leg. According to the findings, the woman switched from the A6 to the A73 with her vehicle at the Nuremberg-Süd motorway junction the day before. Her car was hit by a semi-trailer truck that was also changing lanes. The woman’s car skidded and landed on the guardrail. When getting out, the woman reportedly forgot to pull the handbrake so that the car rolled away and hit and knocked over the driver who was standing at the guardrail. A driver noticed the accident, stopped and freed the woman. She was taken to a hospital.
