The Association of Taxpayers publishes cases of alleged or actual tax wastage every year in its black book. This started 50 years ago.
Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) – The taxpayers’ association is presenting its new black book in Düsseldorf today. As every year, the association lists cases from North Rhine-Westphalia that it believes are a waste of public funds.
Last year, the association criticized, among other things, the 27 million euro construction of a rescue helicopter station in Cologne, which never went into operation. The taxpayers’ association regularly targets public construction projects whose costs are getting out of control.
This year, the Black Book is an anniversary edition: the first Black Book was presented 50 years ago.
