Dresden (dpa / sn) – The existing corona regulations in Saxony remain unchanged. The new regulation will apply from next Sunday until the end of September, the Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday in Dresden. From October 1st, the new Infection Protection Act will come into force.

According to the ministry, the regulations stipulate, among other things, that masks must be worn in local public transport and in hospitals, medical practices and care facilities. In addition, the regulation regulates the obligation to test in hospitals and care facilities. According to this, unvaccinated employees in hospitals have to submit a negative test twice a week. The same applies to vaccinated or recovered employees in care facilities. The other employees and visitors to the facilities must present a daily updated test.
