Essen (dpa/lnw) – While there may still be occasional showers, thunderstorms and heavy rain in North Rhine-Westphalia on Saturday, it should be clear and warm on Sunday. According to the German Weather Service (DWD), the maximum temperatures at the weekend are between 23 and 27 degrees.
On Saturday afternoon, there may still be isolated showers, especially in the eastern half of the country. According to the DWD, thunderstorms and heavy rain cannot be ruled out. From the west, however, it loosens up, in the southwest it mostly remains rain-free.
On Sunday there will be no precipitation at the same temperatures and mostly clear. Cloud fields can also occur in the north-west, otherwise it will be a “friendly day” according to the DWD.
Monday will be cloudy, but temperatures will rise slightly to 25 to 29 degrees.
