Bad Sülze/Rostock (dpa/mv) – After a full day’s closure in both directions, Autobahn 20 between Bad Sülze and Tribsees (Vorpommern-Rügen district) was released again on Wednesday evening. This was announced by the police. The reason for the closure was construction work on bridge structures. According to the motorway company, a bridge west of the existing Trebeltal bridge was concreted. Traffic was diverted via state roads 19 and 23 between the Tribsees and Bad Sülze junctions.

In Rostock, drivers were also unable to use the A19 Rostock-Süd junction in the direction of Rostock-Überseehafen on Wednesday and could neither enter nor leave the motorway there. The closure should also end in the evening. Damaged areas on the roadway at the junction had to be repaired.
