Siegen (dpa / lnw) – When fixing a truck breakdown, a mechanic died in a fatal accident in Siegen. The 38-year-old died on Tuesday afternoon at the scene of the accident, the police said in the evening.
The man had previously been called to a broken-down truck to make it roadworthy again. When he was working on the vehicle, he was trapped by vehicle parts for reasons that were initially unclear. The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
